Petite Red Samplers - 2026 Market Release

Who doesn’t love a red sampler? 

Or two? Or three? Or four?

This booklet features four petite red samplers with each sampler unique in their own way. The models were each stitched using Au Ver Soiè 100/3 silks; however, any floss or thread will work. 

Stitchers are encouraged to personalize their samplers with names of loved ones, dates that hold special meaning, and locations that are dear to them. 

Stitchers are encouraged to choose their own red silk or cotton threads. Models were stitched using an Au Ver A Soiè 100/3 red that most closely matched each of the antique samplers.

• “GE Draper, Knipton 1879” finished measures 103W X 129H stitches. The sampler was stitched using Au Ver A Soiè 100/3 #109 on 40 count Fragile by Needle and Flax Linen
• “Gertrude Fowler, 1888,” finished measures 127W X 139H stitches. The sampler was stitched using Au Ver A Soiè 100/3 #109 on 40 count Button Box Light by Mason Linens
• “Rose Axford 1889,” finished measures 80W X 98H stitches. The sampler was stitched using Au Ver A Soiè 100/3 #449 on 40 count Button Box Light by Mason Linens.
• “Margaret A Jones Sampler,” finished measures 93W X 97H stitches. The sampler was stitched using Au Ver A Soiè 100/3 #664 on 40 count Pemberley by Needle and Flax.

The designs contain no speciality stitches and were all stitched one thread over two.
