Margaret A Cross Sampler - 2026 Market Release
Couldn't load pickup availability
According to a handwritten note on the back of the original antique sampler, Margaret Ann Cross stitched her sweet four-colored sampler when she was nine-years-old. The note also indicates her married name was “Bloor” and she was born in 1854.
Those tidbits of information served as breadcrumbs in a trail that made finding Margaret in genealogical records much easier.
Finished sampler measures 107W X 125H stitches.
Model stitched using Classic Colorworks, Gentle Arts and Weeks Dye Works, one strand over two, on 40-count Light Hazelnut linen from xJuDesign Linen.
The design contains no speciality stitches and is suitable for all ability levels. It may be stitched on Aida cloth or linen.
